Everything you need to know to get a Global Entry interview at PortMiami (even when there are no appointments available).
To enroll in the Global Entry program, start by submitting your application through the official DHS Trusted Traveler Programs website . As part of the process, you'll need to complete a background questionnaire and pay a $120 non-refundable fee for a 5-year membership.
💳 Tip: You may be able to get the $120 Global Entry fee reimbursed if you use one of several travel credit cards that offer this benefit.
Once you submit your Global Entry application, the next step is to wait for conditional approval. This means you've been pre-approved for the Global Entry program, but you must still complete an in-person interview to finalize your enrollment.
The conditional approval timeline varies — it can take as little as 24 hours or up to several months, depending on factors like application volume and the results of your background check.
Congratulations! You've received conditional approval for Global Entry. Your next step is to schedule an interview at PortMiami to complete the application process.
To book your Global Entry interview:
💡 Tip: If you see a message that says "No appointments available for this location," don't worry. This simply means that all current slots are booked — the center is still open and conducting interviews. Keep checking back for new openings!
If the Anchorage Enrollment Center is showing "No appointments available for this location" or the next available Global Entry interview is months away, you're not alone.
So, what can you do?
Global Entry interview slots are frequently cancelled, rescheduled, or added, often without notice. By actively monitoring these changes, you can snag an earlier appointment that fits your schedule — but you have to act fast.
That's where Get Global Entry Appointment comes in. We continuously track interview availability at the Anchorage Enrollment Center and send you an instant SMS alert the moment a new appointment opens up. This allows you to skip the wait and schedule your interview as soon as this week.
