Booking a Global Entry interview at Lansdowne (Thousand Islands Bridge)

1. Apply for Global Entry

To enroll in the Global Entry program, start by submitting your application through the official DHS Trusted Traveler Programs website . As part of the process, you'll need to complete a background questionnaire and pay a $120 non-refundable fee for a 5-year membership.

💳 Tip: You may be able to get the $120 Global Entry fee reimbursed if you use one of several travel credit cards that offer this benefit.

2. Wait for conditional approval

Once you submit your Global Entry application, the next step is to wait for conditional approval. This means you've been pre-approved for the Global Entry program, but you must still complete an in-person interview to finalize your enrollment.

The conditional approval timeline varies — it can take as little as 24 hours or up to several months, depending on factors like application volume and the results of your background check.
